East Bay High School's Summer Renovation
The exterior of East Bay High School is getting a makeover! As soon as school ends for the summer, workers will begin giving the front façade of the school a facelift. This is just one change East Bay is making in a series of improvements. They recently added a new building of classrooms.
East Bay principal Maria Gsell explains that windows will be added to the front of the building to better match the recent extension that was just completed. Additionally, an awning will be constructed and planters will be installed to beautify the campus.
“We’re very excited about the improvements,” said Gsell. “It provides a sense of pride to both students and teachers. The front of the building is the first impression people have of East Bay and we want it to be a positive one. This new facelift will provide that.”
Construction will not interfere with summer school classes that are held at the high school. The entire project will be complete before students return to class in August.
