Waterset Collects Over 2,700 Meals On July 4th!
Waterset residents and members of the surrounding area gathered together on July 4 to celebrate Independence Day and give back to the community.
Sponsored by Newland, Waterset hosted a 4th of July concert and fireworks display. Part of Newland’s popular Concerts for a Cause series, the event was free to attend. In lieu of admission, concert-goers brought non-perishable food items as donations to Feeding Tampa Bay. In total, over 2,700 meals were collected, all of which will go to families in need right here in Apollo Beach.
The Concerts for a Cause series will continue this fall, with events taking place on September 7, September 21, and October 5. The Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, October 19, and will include a concert, food trucks, pumpkin patch and more!
