Holiday Happenings In & Around Tampa
Waterset is truly the perfect place to live if you want to be surrounded by opportunities for fun, festivals, and more. Now - Dec. 22: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Disney World is magical all year long, but during December, it gets even merrier! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party lets you visit the beloved park, while enjoying extra special live entertainment, fireworks, and a holiday parade. Now - December 30, Select Dates: Winter in the Wild at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo
One of Tampa’s favorite family attractions has turned into a winter wonderland! Enjoy seasonal treats, enchanting entertainment and a 50-foot animated Christmas tree! Where else can you get a picture with Santa - and then a picture with a giraffe!? Get all the details at Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park.
Now - January 5: Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park
This well-known celebration in Downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays for children and adults of all ages. Now - January 7: ICE! At Gaylord Palms
ICE! At the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando is back for another snow-tacular year! You and your family will marvel at more than 2 million pounds of ice sculptures, and acres of magnificent lights decorations, plus spectacular holiday activities and events. December 9: Sarasota Christmas Glow Run 5k
Ready to run off that extra helping of Thanksgiving stuffing? The Sarasota Christmas Glow Run is an unforgettable night run through 5 kilometers of stunning holiday lights and decorations.
December 17: Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Amalie Arena
This is no ordinary orchestra! Trans-Siberian Orchestra is well-known for their rock n’ roll take on holiday music, as well as their spectacular light shows. This year’s show, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, is sure to be a hit with a perfect dose of vocal power, enchanting storytelling and several ballads, and great musical interludes. Be there to enjoy an electrifying performance! Tickets are available through multiple online outlets.
December 23: Tampa Bay Riverwalk’s Lighted Boat Parade
Whether you want to enter your boat, or just watch from the shore, the annual Lighted Boat Parade is a Tampa Bay favorite. Visit Tampa Riverwalk for more information.
